A proud moment for the Wampanoag community as Kali Reis, a skilled boxer with Seaconke Wampanoag, Cherokee, and Nipmuc roots, made her grand entrance into the ring.

Her energy and determination shined brightly, setting the stage for an unforgettable fight at Mohegan Sun. With unwavering focus, Kali dominated the match, showcasing not only her boxing talent but also her deep connection to her heritage.

Her victory by unanimous decision marked another chapter in her journey as one of the most respected Indigenous women in the sport.
