*Note: According to this study the word Mexican was a derogatory word used to describe the descendants of Africans that lived there in the 1500’s by the Spaniard Invaders.
Side Note : The word Mexican came from the name Olmec or Olmexi means “rubber people”in reference to rubber trees that grew and made balls from it used in sports . Xi ( pronounced She) is what the Olmecs called themselves.
